How to Select the Power of LED Street Light?
Our customers always ask us, how to select the right street light for their street light, especially the power of it.
Generally speaking, if the LED street light is 100-110lm/w, which is the normal luminaire efficiency in the market, we can follow below:
The usual height, space between pole, and power for LED street light:
LED street light pole 6 meters height, space 20-25 meters, power 40-50W
LED street light pole 8 meters height, space 25-30meters, power 80-120W
LED street light pole 10 meters height, space 30-35 meters, power 150-180W
LED street light pole 12 meters height, space 35-40meters, power 180-220W.
But above is not the final configure, it all depends on how many car ways, traffic situation.,etc.
However, with our latest technology on October 2017, our street light can achieve 171lm/w, which can largely save power:
IES file available for Dialux simulation.
So what is an IES file?
This file contain all electric and optical parameters for a LED lighting products, with this file, we can do Dialux simulation easily.
