LED lighting decline
The standard for LED lighting products is:
Within 3000 continuous lighting hours, the luminous loss is within 3%
Within 6000 continuous lighting hours, the luminous loss is within 6%
Within 10,000 continuous lighting hours, the luminous loss is within 12%
Take LED street light as an example, if we light up 10 hours per day, one year is 3650hours, if it is in not very hot area, the luminous loos is 2%, in some very hot area, the luminous loss will be a little higher, about 3%. This mean after ten year of normal use, and all the cables, aluminum covers, LED chips are of high quality, the luminous flux will be 80% as the original lighting. We use name brand cables with all kinds of certification, like UL, DLC, CE, ROHS, TUV.,etc, pure copper material to make less loss, the cable can last 5 or more years without mal-function. Also the aluminum alloys and LED chips are of high quality, we are standing on the giant shoulder.
